Dr. Matthew Figueroa

Dr. Figueroa was born and raised in Miami Lakes, FL. He received a full academic scholarship to attend Florida State University, where he graduated with a Bachelors degree in Biological Sciences. While at FSU, he was an active member of the Pre-Dental Society, and developed a passion for dentistry while shadowing local dentists in the Tallahassee area.

After graduating from FSU, Dr. Figueroa attended dental school at Nova Southeastern University in Davie, FL, where he earned his Doctorate degree in Dental Medicine. After graduating from the NSU College of Dental Medicine, Dr. Figueroa completed a 1-year General Practice Residency at NYU Langone – Lutheran Hospital in Brooklyn, NY. During his residency, Dr. Figueroa gained valuable experience in implant placement, root canals, wisdom tooth extractions, bone grafting, TMJ therapy, and cosmetic dentistry while being instructed by some of the top dentists and specialists in New York City.

As a dentist, Dr. Figueroa has a true passion for helping his patients receive the best dental care possible. He loves being thorough and educating his patients to ensure that they make the most informed decision possible about their dental treatment. Dr. Figueroa believes in minimally invasive, painless dentistry, and will do whatever it takes to make sure his patients are comfortable during their procedures.

As a person, Dr. Figueroa has a passion for sports, music, and traveling. He is an avid Florida State Seminoles football fan and Miami Heat basketball fan. When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Figueroa enjoys watching movies, golfing, spending time with his family and friends, and giving back to the local community.
